The survival rate of 20–30 engorged mosquitoes was followed each day after membrane feeding. All experiments were performed more than three times. No significant difference was found in the Kaplan–Meier log-rank (Mantel-Cox) test (0.1 mM ATP, p = 0.0576; 1 mM ATP, p = 0.5808)
